Representative Glenn Thompson is not working for Pennsylvanians. He seems to be working for Trump. You know, the one on trial for interfering in our Presidential election.
Thompson produces an e-newsletter that some call the Good, the Bad, and the Laughable because of the dishonesty it spews.
Agriculture is the number one industry in PA. Yet, as Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, Thompson has failed to bring a new Farm Bill to vote. President Biden signed into law H.R. 6363, extending the 2018 Farm Bill and allowing authorized programs to continue through Sept. 30, 2024.
Thompson did find time to fly to Eagle Pass, Texas, to what? Inspect it for 3 days? He called it “a crisis of epic proportions” but then voted against the Immigration Act that his own party wrote! Why? Because Trump told him to.
Thompson’s most egregious act was joining a case before the Supreme Court that called for all the votes for president in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin to be discarded in order to change the outcome of the 2020 election. Thompson voted to nullify our votes! Why? Because Trump asked him to.
On the first anniversary of the January 6 Insurrection, the House of Representatives met to remember and honor the people who fought and died, or were gravely injured, protecting them. Only one Republican Representative, Liz Cheney, attended – another indication that Thompson works for Trump and not the people he was elected to serve.
