As the November midterms approach, the choice for Pennsylvania voters is stark.
If you are OK with executive branch overreach, unilaterally freezing congressional funds, bypassing the power of the purse, and dismantling federal agencies without legislative oversight, then GT Thompson is your guy.
If you want a return to functioning, co-equal branches of government with real checks and balances, Ray Bilger is the clear choice.
Representative Thompson has consistently voted along strict party lines, repeatedly endorsing executive power grabs. His refusal to curb unilateral military action has enabled unauthorized conflicts, resulting in the tragic deaths of U.S. service members and American citizens, including Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
Furthermore, Thompson has repeatedly voted against constitutional oversight. He opposed enforcing congressional subpoenas, blocked measures restricting broad executive privilege, and voted against the Iran War Powers Resolution, rejecting efforts to limit this president’s authority to initiate military action without prior congressional consent.
Beyond foreign policy, Thompson firmly backs tariffs that harm Pennsylvania’s economy, costing thousands of manufacturing jobs, hurting rural farming communities, and driving up prices on everyday goods for local families.
Adding insult to injury, he has done nothing to rein in the corrupt, self-serving actions of President Trump that have further enriched him personally, as well as his family and friends.
Pennsylvania deserves a representative who respects the Constitution, protects legislative authority, and puts local workers first.
Ray Bilger offers a principled, better path forward for our district.
