UNION COUNTY, PA DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE
ESSAY CONTEST
To recognize and honor leadership contributions of its members, the Union County Democratic Committee (UCDC) initiates an annual essay contest with three awards in the names of: Rose Kline, Bea Spielman and Miriam Landis.
Only high school students in grades 9 to 12, including home schooled, living in Union County, PA are eligible.
Three essay questions are posed from which students can choose one to address.
Only one submission per student will be accepted.
The winning essay for each question will be awarded $100 at the annual spring dinner of the UCDC.
Submissions are due Friday, March 5, 2010.
