UCDC Opens Vote Local Headquarters in Lewisburg

The Union County Democratic Committee has opened an office in downtown Lewisburg at 227 Market Street, in cooperation with the Mike Molesevich for Congress Campaign and David Heayn for PA 85th campaign . The office aids the local operation of PA Victory 2016, whose local organizers are Gary Harriman and Adrienne Pomeroy.

Office Manager John Peeler, with the help of volunteers, keeps the office open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to welcome voters and to distribute candidate information. Voter registration forms and absentee ballot information are available. In addition the office is used to support phone banking, door to door canvassing, and data entry for Hillary Clinton for President, Katie McGinty for US Senator, Mike Molesevich for Congress (PA 10th district) and David Heayn for the Pennsylvania House (85th district).

UCDC Chairman Rick Thomas stated that national, statewide and local campaigns are always looking for volunteers to staff the office and participate in voter registration and campaign activities.

The UCDC Fall Dinner will be held at Country Cupboard Restaurant on Saturday September 24 from 6 to 9pm. Local candidates and representatives from statewide and presidential campaigns are expected to address attendees. Fees for the fund raising event are $40 for individual, $75 per couple and $25 for students. Check can be sent to UCDC at PO Box 3, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
